lightening and thunder

it's 2.22 + has started to pour, not rain as it has been raining all day, but pour.

rain is a cleansing experience, washing away what has been sitting on the surface to prepare for when the clouds clear and the earth can begin to grow again..

but now there is thunder and lightening,

and i wonder if in fact the heavens weep for us

that something so good and so pure

has been split apart, worlds apart

and left to fend alone,

instead of as one

but then i remember

the rain

always

stops

eventually
